About Us
The Arizona Informant Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that provides educational opportunities for African American students in Arizona.  The foundation’s goal is to increase participation of African Americans within the communications and journalism industry by providing scholarships to students who are pursuing journalism or communications degree either though traditional educational means, such as college majors, or specialized educational of internship opportunities.

Services
Another key goal of the foundation is to promote health literacy to reduce health care disparities in the African American community.  Through the foundation community forums, workshops and health fairs are conducted on a regular basis.
AZIF also publishes a quarterly health care magazine to assist with outreach programs. AAAH! (Arizona African American Health) was launched in the Fall of 2009.  Our partnerships with key community organizations allows for new and better ways to serve the African American population in Arizona.

Each event is run by a leadership team and we are always looking for new volunteers. There are also many other fundraising events organized by various groups, clubs and individuals throughout the year.
